The question of how much an English course costs is legitimate – and deserves an honest answer. With many language schools, pricing is opaque: enrolment fees, material costs, VAT, and hidden surcharges make the actual cost difficult to calculate. At Simmonds Language Services, things are different. We believe in transparent pricing: what we quote is the final price. All our course fees are VAT-exempt under §4 Nr.21 UStG – you pay exactly the stated amount with no hidden extras.

Compared to other providers, we offer excellent value for money. Major language schools like Berlitz charge €100–200 per private lesson, EF and Inlingua are similarly priced. Online platforms like Preply offer cheaper rates (€15–60) but without structured course design, quality control of teachers, or supplementary AI technology. With Simmonds, you get native-speaking trainers with years of experience, individually tailored courses for your professional needs, and unlimited AI avatar practice – €95–105 / 90 min
