English for companies: live training & HR reports
Four formats, nine building blocks, 50+ corporate clients — in Hannover, Berlin, or online.
What HR asks us
Can you put groups together by level and department?
Yes. It starts with the placement test: everyone who is to take part is assessed, and we build groups of a similar level from the results. Three to five participants per group is usual, most often from the same department — so the examples in class come from their own working day.
Do participants receive a certificate?
At the end of the course each participant receives a Teilnahmebescheinigung, a certificate of attendance for the course they attended. We send it to HR or straight to the participants, whichever you prefer.
What reporting does HR receive?
We record attendance and run a satisfaction survey among the participants at the end of the course. We share both with your HR team. Anything reported beyond that, and how often, we agree with you before the course starts.
Can we mix on-site and online lessons?
Yes. We teach on site in Hanover and Berlin, and online everywhere else. The two combine within one course — in-person sessions for the team in Hanover, for instance, and online sessions for colleagues at other locations.
When should we enquire so the training fits our budget?
Corporate courses commonly start in the autumn or in January, just after budgets are set. Enquire as soon as you know how many people should take part: after the initial consultation and the placement test you receive the quote within 24 hours. The price ranges are on our corporate training costs page.
What if only one employee needs English?
That works too. For an individual employee, companies book one-to-one packages. The invoice goes to the company, not to the employee. The process stays the same: placement, fixed appointments and a certificate of attendance at the end.
Four details are enough for us to quote: number of participants, departments, level and time frame.
How we organise your training
In a free initial consultation lasting 20 to 30 minutes, we discuss who will take part and where your employees need English. Placement helps us plan suitable groups and learning goals. We then discuss the format, schedule and quotation.
Where we teach
We teach online and in person in Hanover and Berlin. For training on your premises, we discuss the location and facilities needed. We help you choose a suitable format during the initial consultation.
Our online lessons page explains how video sessions work and what equipment you need. For content, language levels and learning examples, see our Business English course.
Scheduling your training
We agree lesson times with you, taking working hours, project schedules and participants' availability into account. Each session lasts 90 minutes. We agree the frequency and course length for each programme. Online lessons can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice; in-person lessons require at least 48 hours' notice.
Group size and composition
We recommend groups of three to five participants with similar English levels. We also consider their roles and learning goals when organising groups. One-to-one lessons are available for individual requirements. Each group has one regular trainer; if that trainer is ill, we provide a substitute.
What corporate training costs
Online 1:1: €65–70 / 60 min or €95–105 / 90 min. In person at our office: Hanover €110 / 90 min, Berlin €120 / 90 min. In-house: on request (travel included in the quote). Groups / corporate courses: priced per group, not per person — on request. Package: 10 × 60 min for €650. All prices are net; language lessons are VAT-exempt under §4 Nr. 21 UStG.
Placement and progress
We use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to assess English levels. We then set workplace learning goals, such as chairing a status meeting in English. Interim assessments and course reports help us review progress. We agree with you what information HR receives and how often.
