Tell us who signs the training off — we write the quote and settle the invoice with the company.

What does online one-to-one tuition cost?
If you pay privately, you book single lessons from €90 / 90 min, VAT-exempt (§4 Nr.21 UStG). If your employer pays, the quote goes to HR or to your manager and the invoice to the company; in-person lessons in Hanover or Berlin are quoted the same way.
Native speaker or German-speaking trainer?
Our trainers are native speakers and explain in German whenever a rule or a word would otherwise stay unclear. You speak English with a native speaker without giving up an explanation in your own language.
Can I still learn English over 50?
Yes. We teach working adults from A1 to C2, and the lessons are led by a trainer, not by an app. Pace, repetition and topics follow you.
Why a trainer and not simply an app?
Duolingo or Babbel let you practise vocabulary, which complements lessons well. A trainer listens to you in conversation and corrects where a mistake has settled in; our AI avatar is there for extra practice between lessons.
How fast do people make progress?
A typical week is one live lesson with your trainer, the material from that lesson in between and, if you like, practice with the AI avatar. In that rhythm one CEFR step in three to six months is typical, not a promise. What the pace depends on is answered in the FAQ further down.

Can I arrange a trial lesson?+ −
We do not offer trial lessons. There is, however, a free consultation before the course starts, where you meet your trainer, have your level assessed and discuss your learning goals. There is no obligation — you decide afterwards whether you want to continue. You can also join our free online classes twice a week.

We primarily use Microsoft Teams as a GDPR-compliant platform. Alternatively, Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet, and Skype are also available - you choose the platform that best suits you.
