James Simmonds

Native English speaker from Worcester, England. For over 20 years I have been teaching Business English in Germany — for individuals, teams, and companies of all sizes.

After graduating in England, I moved to Germany and initially worked at Berlitz and in adult education. In 2004, I founded my own language school in Hanover with the goal of offering customized language training aligned with the actual requirements of professional life.

Today I lead a team of 10 qualified native-speaking trainers from the UK, USA, and Australia. Together we serve over 50 corporate clients — from DAX corporations like DHL and Continental to innovative startups. Our locations in Hanover and Berlin, plus our online offering, enable training worldwide.

In 2024, we introduced the Simmonds Method: combining experienced native speakers with AI avatar technology. This allows our participants to practice 24/7 with an AI avatar and deepen their skills in weekly live sessions with real trainers — for faster and more lasting results.
